TWO BRIDES AND A BABY, MIRROR BOY, WIN AT BON AWARDS

The 2011 edition of the Best of Nollywood (BON) awards, which took place recently at the Lagoon Restaurant, Lagos, was hosted by Kingsley Ogboso. The BON awards celebrate the accomplishments of Nigerian actors and filmmakers.

This year, the award for Best Actor went to Joseph Benjamin while Best Actress went to Nse Ikpe-Etim.
The movie, “Two Brides and a Baby” picked up the award for Best Sound and Screenplay of the Year.

Movie with Message for Societal Change went to “Damage”, while Best Kiss in a Nigerian Movie was won by “Bursting out.” Mirror boy bagged the Best Nigerian Movie in Diaspora award.

Sola Fajobi, producer of TV reality shows Next Movie Star and Super Mom was honoured with a ‘Lifetime Recognition Award’.

Those present at the ceremony included Uru Eke, Alex Ekubo, Nse Ikpe Etim and Berverly Naya among others.
JJC, W4, Adol and capital F.E.M.I. performed at the event.
