Lady Gaga did the honors at the ribbon cutting ceremony for "Gaga's Workshop" at Barneys New York on Monday. The 5,500-square-foot holiday display, which takes up the entire fifth floor of Barneys, resembles Santa's workshop with a Gaga flair.
The pop star proudly posed with a crazy pair of neon scissors at the event, where clowns-turned-carolers sang some of Gaga's most popular tunes, including "The Edge of Glory" and "Born This Way." "It's a 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' moment," Gaga said of the shop, which sells everything from Swarovski-encrusted tea cups to stiletto Christmas stockings. "We wanted it all to be whimsical and fun, with a sense of art and fashion."
There was even a gigantic Lady Gaga balloon propped up at Columbus Circle to promote the special store.
