The usually-outlandish star came over all camera shy as she spent her special
day shopping in sunny California.
Gaga, who turned 26 yesterday, appeared to be downbeat as she was accompanied
by a bodyguard.
She was seen in another bizarre combination of clothes, teaming a pink skull
and cross bone design headscarf with a studded leather jacket and tights.
The hosiery was see-through and gave a clear view of her big black pants.
While the outfit was eye-catching, it was not as wild as one would expect the
style icon to wear on her birthday.
On
the eve of her birthday, Gaga told fans she felt like a 15-year-old.
Responding to a fan who asked how she is going to celebrate her big day, Gaga
replied: "Quinceanera."
The word means "one who is 15" in Spanish and it can also translate
to be "Fiesta de Quinceañera", which is the celebration of a
girl's 15th birthday in parts of Latin America.
Shortly before she turned 26, Gaga posted a picture of a half-eaten birthday
cake with a candle in, and she wrote accompanying message: "This is how
it feels turning 26 in three and a half hours. Ha! (sic)".
Last year, Gaga - whose real name is Stefani Germanotta - ended her 25th
birthday by streaking through her hotel.
Earlier in the evening she was presented with a custom-made sex doll at her
birthday party with family and close friends Kate Hudson, Fergie, Cindy
Crawford and Adam Lambert at Los Angeles' LA Cita Mexican restaurant.-SUN
