18 CORPS MEMBERS DIED IN AUTO CRASH

Eighteen graduates of the Imo State University, Owerri, are said to have died in an auto crash on Thursday night.
The graduates were said to be on their way to the National Youth Service Corps camp in Taraba State for their orientation programme.
They were said to be intending Batch ‘A’ corps members.
It was learnt that they picked up their call-up letters from IMSU late and in order to meet the deadline for resumption in camp, they decided to make the journey by night.
The details of the incident, which remained sketchy as at press time, were yet to be confirmed by the authorities.
But a former editor with the Daily Times stable, Angela Ulunma Agoawike, broke the news on the wall of her social network site, Facebook.
Agoawike wrote, “Report coming in has it that about 18 graduates of Imo State University heading for Taraba State for the Batch ‘A’ NYSC orientation camp have all died in a motor accident.”
