Police in the city are investigating 24-year-old Christal Spann's claims.
She's filed a report accusing Brown of stealing her iPhone on Sunday morning.
Spann claims she approached Brown and rapper Tyga as they left Cameo nightclub and took snaps of the singer as he was getting into his Bentley.
As soon as Brown noticed her, he allegedly grabbed the phone through his driver door window and drove off with it.
According to TMZ, Spann told cops she heard Brown shout: "B****, you ain't going to put that on no website," as he wrestled the mobile from her.
The matter is currently under investigation, though no arrests have been made.
Brown made the headlines for all the wrong reasons in 2009 when he attacked then-girlfriend Rihanna while driving with the global superstar in his car.
He pleaded guilty to felony assault and was sentenced to five years' probation and six months of community service.
However, speculation is rife that Rihanna is on the verge of reuniting with her old flame.
It follows the revelation that Brown has recorded a remix of her song Birthday Cake.
