Time Magazine’s latest cover focuses on “Attachment Parenting” – an
approach where mothers breast feed their children long past the
‘accepted’ weaning age; and the picture used in depicting this unique
approach, is causing quite a stir.
The picture features 26-year-old Jamie Lynn Grunett breastfeeding her
3-year-old son while he stands on a chair – to better drive home the
fact that unlike babies who have to be carried, he is quite capable of
standing on his own.
