Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and Nigerian sensation, Wizkid have been announced joint winners for the 2012 BET Award for Best International Act (Africa) at the ongoing awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. They beat Nigeria’s Iceprince, Kenya’s Camp Mulla, Mali’s Mokobe and South Africa’s Lira for the gong. Last year the award was shared by 2face Idibia and Dbanj from Nigeria.
