No fewer than 800 people have been sacked from Mainstreet bank, former Afribank following issues of outstanding gratuity. The sack came in spite of the Federal Government directive to the management of the bank and organised labour to maintain status quo pending resolution of labour issues between both parties. Labour has however ordered the immediate reversal of the termination.
