Italian photographer Yossi Loloi, 36, captured them for his
FullBeauty project, aimed at turning the notion of beauty and form, fashion and
attraction on its head.
Each woman weighs at least 30st — with the heaviest pushing
43st — and hides nothing from the intrusive glare of the lens.
Yossi’s fascination with women of size led him to New York’s
underground “fat acceptance” scene in 2006 where he began taking these provocative
images of women.
Yossi said: “I wanted to show that beauty isn’t owned by
skinny people alone.

FIRE OUTBREAK AT MURTALA MOHAMMED INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

A statement by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria said the fire outbreak was caused by the activities of welders working on the site.
It was reportedly put off within 15 minutes.
The statement by FAAN added: “The prompt intervention of the fire service attached to the airport immediately brought the fire under control.
“There were no casualties.
“The only fall out of the incident was the switching off of the power source which has since been restored.
“Normal activities at the Airport which were not interrupted by the fire have continued as planes are taking off and landing without hitches.
“FAAN commends the rapid response of the officers and men of its Fire Department and other relevant agencies for restoring normalcy.
THE PRINCIPAL WHO CONDUCTED VIRGINITY TESTS ON PUPILS SUSPENDED
The Ogun State Government has suspended
the Principal, Ajuwon Senior High School, Ajuwon, Ifo Local Government
Area, Ogun State, Olufunke Oladeojobi, for allegedly conducting
virginity test on her pupils.
Commissioner for Education, Science and
Technology, Mr. Segun Odubela, told our correspondent on the phone on
Wednesday that Oladeojobi had been suspended.
Odubela said, “A five-man committee
comprising officials of the Ministry of Education and the state Teaching
Service Commission has been set up to investigate Oladeojobi.
“The committee has been mandated to
report back to the government in 14 days. Right now, all I can tell you
is that we have suspended her pending the conclusion of investigation.”
The
government’s resolution came after Odubela and senior officials of the
ministry quizzed the principal for over two hours on Wednesday.

Yakowa’s corpse arrived with the corpse of a top politician, Dauda Tsoho, who also died in the crash.
Family members of the deceased, the new governor of the state, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, National Assembly members, service chiefs, religious leaders, traditonal rulers and politicians were all at the airport to receive the corpses.
Speaking on Yakowa’s death, his Special Adviser on Media, Reuben Buhari, said even in death, his late boss represented the platform for peace, unity and development, which he always preached when he was the governor of the state.” Yakowa might have died, but his legacies and strong commitmnet to serving humanity will continue to linger on,” Buhari stated.
BANKS FINALLY STOP N100 INTER BANK ATM CHARGE
Briefing journalists at the end of their meeting in Abuja, the Managing Director of First Bank, Mr Bisi Onasanya, said the decision was in line with “popular trends” in other parts of the world.
“Presently when you use the ATM of a bank other than your bank, there is a charge of N100 which is borne by the account holder.
“We have decided that we will work out the modality and ensure that with immediate effect we would pass on this cost to the respective banks which bear the cost of providing services.
“No matter where you are withdrawing your money from, you will not be subjected to any charge for using the ATM.
PRINCIPAL QUIZZED FOR CONDUCTING VIRGINITY TESTS ON PUPILS

Ajuwon, Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State, Rev. Olufunke Oladeojobi,
has been quizzed by the police for allegedly conducting virginity tests
on the pupils.
Oladeojobi, who was described as a strict disciplinarian, by her pupils
called in a nurse and jointly carried out virginity tests on a group of
10 students last week Monday.
It was further learnt that the
principal did not seek the consent of the parents/guardians of the
pupils before conducting the test on Senior Secondary School 1 pupils.
During the test, it was alleged that the
principal and the nurse whose name could not be ascertained allegedly
dipped their fingers into the pupils’ private parts.
FIRST LADY PATIENCE JONATHAN TO LIGHT NIGERIA'S FIRST NATIONAL CHRISTMAS TREE
The First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, will on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 light the first Nigerian National Christmas Tree.
The Christmas tree, is 20.9 meter high and is located at the Unity Fountain Park, besides the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
The tree is decorated with the national colours: green and white.
‘It is consequently our anticipation
that an annual lighting of the Nigerian National Christmas Tree will
play a similar unifying role for our people’, Minister of State for FCT, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide noted.
The project is an initiative of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Governor Yakowa
Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State and former National Security Adviser Andrew Owoye Azazi apparently died in a helicopter that crashed today in Bayelsa State, a reliable source has told SaharaReporters.
Governor Yakowa and Mr. Azazi, a retired military general who served as chief security adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, were among passengers in the ill-fated helicopter.
Nigeria's National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) had earlier indicated that the agency had activated a search for a crashed helicopter.
It was earlier disclosed that the crashed chopper was carrying “some major political figures.
Governor Yakowa and Mr. Azazi were among many political figures who reportedly attended the burial of the father of senior presidential aide Oronto Douglas. The funeral event took place in the Nembe area of Bayelsa State earlier today. It was learnt that the crashed helicopter was one of several helicopters that some well-connected people to the funeral.
The crash comes on the heels of a plane crash on October 25, 2012 that has left Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State brain-damaged. Mr. Suntai was moved to a hospital in Germany where he remains in poor shape, unable to recognize his visitors or to speak.
