One of the suspects, Faith Onuoha, a 24-year-old hair stylist, was allegedly caught with one kilogramme of methamphetamine hidden in her underwear.
The other, Bisola Animasaun, 25, a London-based fashion designer, was allegedly nabbed with 3 kilogrammes of cocaine concealed in packs of chocolates.
The NDLEA Lagos Airport Commander, Hamza Umar, said Onuoha was detected with the assistance of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

JACKIE CHAN RETIRES FROM ACTION FILMS
Chan, 58, announced his decision at the Cannes Film Festival. His retirement is in part due to his age. Chan said he feels "too old" for the demanding stunts. He said that the upcoming film "Chinese Zodiac" will be his last action flick. "I am not young any more. I am really, really tired," he said.
Chan also remarked that he has become turned off by the increasing level of violence in films today. "The world is too violent right now. It's a dilemma -- I love fighting. I like action. but I don't like violence."
Indeed, fans of Chan's work will note that while his films have a tremendous number of impressive stunts, the action is rarely violent for the sake of being violent. There is usually some comedy and innocence mixed in.
While Chan may be hanging up his kung fu kicks, he's not retiring from acting. Chan said he wants to expand his range and take on more emotionally dramatic work.

BELLO GARUBA TO DIE BY HANGING FOR KILLING DAD, MUM AND THREE SIBLINGS
A Kano High Court in Kano State, Northcentral Nigeria, on Tuesday sentenced to death by hanging Bello Garuba who on 13 September, 2010 killed five of his family members.
The presiding judge, Justice Haliru Abdullahi in a one and a half hour judgement said Bello Garuba deserves to face the hangman’s noose citing Section 221(b) of the Penal Code.
He said Garuba deserves five death sentences, he should be hanged five times but the sentence can only run concurrently.
In the early hours of 13 September, 2010, at MA173, Zoo Road, Housing Estate, the convict was arrested by security agents for killing his father, mother, two of his sisters and a younger brother.
The father of the convict who was a deputy director in the State Security Service, SSS, was killed during the incident.
Garuba, upon interrogation by security agents was quoted as saying “I killed them” because he believed that the family can no longer cope with the harsh economic situation.
After judgement, counsel to the convict, Saidu Mohammed said he will study the judgement, adding: “We do have grounds to appeal.”

After an anonymous tip, 54 year old Bimbo Oyewole has been arrested; 20 years after assuming the identity of the victim of an unsolved murder, so he could hide his illegal immigrant status.
He had worked undetected for this whole time first as a security guard then as a security supervisor at the Newark International Airport.
Speculation is now rife as to whether he will be implicated in the murder of Jerry Thomas (the identity he assumed) as both the murder and Bimbo’s assumption of Jerry’s identity occurred in the same year.
The fact that he had gone through all background checks, was given clearance and had fooled the TSA for over two decades, raises a lot of questions regarding security at the airports.
He faces charges including identity theft, authorities said.

GUNMEN ABDUCT 6 YEAR OLD GIRL FROM FAMILY HOUSE IN ENUGU
Unknown gunmen have abducted a six-year old girl, Miss Kosisochukwu Akilo, from her family house in Enugu.
The mother of the girl, Mrs. Ebele Akilo, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Enugu on Tuesday that the gunmen broke into their house in the early hours of Sunday.
Narrating her ordeal to NAN, Akilo said the two armed men broke into the house located at No. 56, River Lane, GRA, Enugu around 2a.m on Sunday through the toilet window.
She said the men demanded money and her trinkets but she told them that she did not have any as her jewellery were stolen barely a month ago.
Akilo said they later asked for her children and she showed them where the four of them were sleeping. She said they quickly grabbed her second daughter, collected her phone and left the house on a bike.
“I cried and begged them to leave my daughter but they refused. I am calling on everybody to please help me find my daughter,” she said.
Akilo, who works with the state ministry of lands, said the kidnappers had yet to contact the family.
When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the report, saying the police were working on the rescue of the child.
“We have mounted intensive search for the child and I assure you that she will be rescued,” Amaraizu said.
