The Lagos State Police Command is investigating the death of a middle aged man, Boniface Nwachie, which allegedly occurred as he had sex with his lover, Faith Bassey.
The two lovers had checked into City Centre Hotel, Ijesha, Surulere, over the weekend around 8: 20pm. It was gathered that they had ordered for drinks about 8.40pm. Shortly after, the hotel staff said the Bassey raised an alarm claiming that Nwachie collapsed while they were having sex.
Workers at the hospital reportedly rushed into the room and tried to revive the unconscious man. However, all efforts proved abortive. He was later confirmed dead at a hospital.
Bassey admitted that their sex life was a very active and strenuous one, adding that the late Nwachie was no stranger to her sex routine as he had been her lover for a long time. She, however, said that she suspected that her late lover might have been medically unfit on that fateful day.
Meanwhile, she has been arrested and detained at the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) Panti, Yaba, for questioning; while the corpse has been taken to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital mortuary for autopsy.-DAILYTIMES
