SEUN OYELEKE CAUGHT WITH A 7 YEAR OLD FEMALE PUPIL IN A SCHOOL TOILET
A 29-year-old Mathematics and Social Studies graduate of a college of education, Mr. Seun Oyeleke, has been caught pants down with a seven-year-old female pupil in a school toilet.
Oyeleke teaches at a private nursery and primary school on Church Street, Osogbo, Osun State.
One of the pupils’ mother, Mrs. A Ajiboye, had been informed by her son, who attends Oyeleke’s tutorials with her five-year-old sister, that the teacher was fond of taking the girl out of the classroom to an unknown destination.

NDLEA ARRESTS DRUG SUSPECT WITH 2 PASSPORTS
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have apprehended a suspected drug trafficker with two international passports, one concealed in his pants, the agency said in a statement this morning.
NDLEA said that the suspect, Ogbobe Chukwuma Franklin, 43, tested positive for drug ingestion during the screening of passengers at the Murtalla Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
MILLITARY COUP IN MALI
Renegade Mali soldiers on Thursday claimed they had seized power from an “incompetent regime,” announcing on television they had suspended the constitution and dissolved state institutions.
The putschists, calling themselves the National Committee for the Establishment of Democracy, said they had acted due to government’s “inability” to handle a Tuareg-led insurrection in the north of the country.
A group of a few dozen soldiers appeared on state television at about 0445 GMT after a few false starts battling to get audio equipment working and hours of music videos playing after seizing the broadcaster in Bamako.
NIGERIAN BREAKS HEROINE RECORD AT DULLES AIRPORT
Bola Adebisi, 52, set a record at the Dulles International Airport, USA, when she excreted 180 thumb-sized pellets of heroin worth $150, 000.
She has been charged with drug smuggling in a federal court.
Customs officers became suspicious on Saturday when Adebisi said she was coming to the U.S. to visit her brother, but couldn’t describe him. A routine pat-down found her stomach to be abnormally rigid. An X-ray revealed the pellets and she was taken to the hospital.
Weighing over five pounds, the heroine found on Adebisi is the highest ever ingested by a suspect caught at the airport.
The previous record for an ingested drug seizure at Dulles occurred last year, when another Nigerian was discovered with more than four pounds of pellets.

FIRE GUTS UNILAG FACULTY OF SCIENCE BUILDING
An early morning fire on Tuesday gutted some offices in the Physics Department of the Faculty of Science building at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State.
The fire appeared to have broken out from the second floor of the three-storey building, causing panic in the school.
It took the combined effort of firemen from the Federal Fire Service, Lagos State Fire Service, Yaba College of Technology and UNILAG as well as staff and students of the institution to put out the fire.
There is no information about the cause of the fire or the extent of damage.-PUNCH

2 LOVERS FOUND DEAD IN A CAR
Residents of Kano metropolis were thrown into shock on Wednesday when two bodies of a young man and a woman suspected to be lovers were found dead inside a car.
The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) gathered in Kano that the corpses of the ‘lovers’ were found early in the morning on Wednesday in a Peugeot 406 car with Kano registration number AW 576 KMC around Kundila Housing Estate.
A witness said foam was coming out of the mouths of the pair when people saw them.
NAN learnt that the two, who were in their early 20s, have been identified by their relations.
When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Magaji Majiya confirmed the story.
He said that investigation had commenced in order to ascertain the cause of their death as there was no injury or sign of torture on their bodies.
TWO NIGERIAN HOUSEMAIDS FIGHT OVER INDIAN LOVER
Two Nigerian house maids, Patience Okpara and Elizabeth Emmanuel threw away decency and fought openly at Ilupeju Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria over an Indian man .
Patience was bitter that Elizabeth started having affairs with the Indian she claimed was her sex partner and boss.
The fight resulted in Patience boiling a hot water adding pepper to it and pouring it on Elizabeth and she sustained severe burns.
The incident happened at 17, Sere Close, Ilupeju, Lagos, where both work as domestic servants to two Indians.
Both were arrested by the police at Ilupeju station.
Patience was charged to Oshodi Magistrate’s court, Lagos for pouring hot water on Elizabeth after their fight was separated by a security guard in the compound.
Patience, 25, hails from Imo State and Elizabeth, 25, hails from Akwa Ibom State.
It was gathered that Patience was so bitter that Elizabeth left her own man and had sex with her boss.
Patience said when she confronted Elizabeth, she boasted about it, saying it was her boss that demanded her services that night.
Patience, who is now facing a one-count charge of assault at the court, pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Osho Adebiyi granted her bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties in like sum.

The killers of a Briton and an Italian in Sokoto State who were captured last week after a failed rescue attempt have been paraded by the State Security Service, Wednesday, in Abuja.
The expatriates were kidnapped in Birnin Kebbi and then moved to Sokoto by a splinter group of Boko Haram led by one Abu Mohammed.Also the police source stated that the brain behind the kidnapping of the Europeans died in custody due to wounds sustained during the failed rescue attempt by the UK and Nigerian special forces.-VANGUARD
DIG JOHN HARUNA, 3 OTHERS CONFIRMED DEAD IN HELICOPTER CRASH IN JOS
A Nigerian police aircraft used for surveillance by security personnel in Jos attempting to monitor the ongoing security crisis in the state has crashed. Four casualities have been confirmed.
A police deputy inspector general of police, John Haruna, his orderly and the pilot.The incident occurred at approximately 12:15pm on Wednesday. Eye witnesses say the low-flying chopper plane crashed in the vicinity of a satellite market and a Government Secondary School along Rukuba Road in the Kabong area of Jos. This latest crash adds to the growing number of aircraft accidents in Nigeria due to continued use of faulty and poorly maintained equipment.
