Making their first high-profile appearance together since successfully weathering that more-than-likely false paternity claim, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were smiling and smooching as they hit the red carpet at the American Music Awards.
The glamour of Old Hollywood radiated from the teen power couple, with Bieber in a sharp tuxedo (and black bow tie!) and Gomez wearing a classic golden gown. In a move sure to rankle fans who still miss the Bieber swoop, Justin sported a slicked-down hair style with his usually buoyant locks patted down tightly and looking much darker than usual.
Also mixing things up, Gomez opted for an uncharacteristically grown-up outfit, choosing a satin Giorgio Armani dress with a low-cut neckline and a slit that showed off some leg--but hey, the Disney star is 19 at this point.
